Tasting Notes: Pops with an immediate does of French Oak on the nose. It s French toast dusted with powdered sugar that slowly moves to cardamom and mulling spice. A festive and exciting nose. The palate revisits the toastiness of the nose. It s Crème Brûlée and charred marshmallow. Just when you think it may be a little sweet the tannins hit. There are notes of almond skins, spicy Mexican chocolate and cayenne sprinkled on fresh plums.
This is a fantastic pour to let sit in the glass. The aromas alone make this perfect for a cold winter night.
